After poor Michael read through the 48 page directions about 3 times, we finally felt prepared to play it. The 1st game took about 6 hours as there was so much to figure out. The 2nd game only took about 5 hours and the 3rd game only took 4 hours. So be prepared to sit for a little while playing this game but it is worth it. The directions say to play 2-6 players but we've found the best number is 4 players. We also have the Brood War expansion which is supposed to fix the kinks in the regular board game. We will definitely play with the expansion next time and post about how it helped the game play. We played with a few people who had played the video game before so they were able to help us figure out some of the game play. This helped a ton! It's easy to get the mechanics down once you figure out what everything does and where it all goes. (Video to follow)
